2018 Gaming Laptop Computers are going ON SALE!

This year with gaming laptops, the RTX 2000 series are hitting the market to give gamers an even better performance in gaming. But of course, the newer the idea or innovation, the more expensive it becomes.

Now you might think it’s a bad time to get these laptops, which is true in my opinion. But if you look at this at a different angle, the gaming laptop company’s vendors will have to clear out the older inventory so that more RTX series laptops can hit the shelves to be sold.

THAT IS GREAT NEWS FOR GAMERS because last year’s laptop GTX models are now even cheaper! Even though GTX models are the thing of the past now, their models have served gamers quite well throughout 2018. In other words, you can play almost all the AAA titles with these laptop computers with smooth frame rates (some with high graphics setting) and have a blast playing without any problems on lag or visual distortions!

Here on this list, I’ll be listing out the gaming laptops that are on sale and are having big discounts! So check back every so often to see if I have updated this page for more deals on last year’s models. It won’t necessarily be my best recommendations, but I’ll be looking what the laptops offer and compare it to their prices. I’ll do my best to offer great products.

HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop ($686.00)

  • 15.6″ 1080p Display
  • 8th Gen. Intel Quad-Core i5 8300H Processor (2.3-4GHz)
  • 8GB DDR4 RAM
  • 1TB HDD
  • GTX 4GB 1050 Ti Graphics Card
  • 14.4 x 10.1 x 1 inches, 5.18 Pounds

This is a crazy deal because a few months ago when it was posted on Amazon, this thing was selling for $1000! The fact that it got released a few months ago and there are better gaming laptops that sell for $1000 is bad marketing in my opinion, but now it’s super affordable. Now obviously, this laptop isn’t perfect by all means, but the specs give you more than enough power to get you to game comfortably with the medium to high graphics setting.

Acer Nitro 5 Gaming Laptop ($699.99)

  • 15.6″ 1080p display
  • Intel Quad-Core i5 7300HQ Processor
  • GTX 1050 Ti Graphics Card
  • 16GB DDR2 Ram
  • 1TB SSD/2TB HDD
  • 1.1 x 15.3 x 10.5 inches

The processor may not seem impressive on paper, but the i5 processor it presents has the same power as the last generations i7 intel core, which is impressive. The specs are pretty much identical from the HP Pavilion but it gives twice the storage space in this computer and it gives twice the amount of memory. So it’s a great deal for the price!

Dell G3 Gaming Laptop ($839.99)

  • Intel Hexa Core i5 8300H processor
  • 17.3″ 1080p FHD Display
  • 4 GB GTX 1050 TI graphics card
  • 8 GB DDR2 RAM
  • 1TB Flash Memory SSD Storage
  • 10.99 x 16.35 x 0.98 inches

If you wanted something bigger in display that is on sale, this might do it for you. The specs are acceptable for this price range and its thin, professional look will make you look like a working man. If you’re a Dell person who is looking for a cheap laptop, the cheapest gaming laptop from dell is perfect for you.

*UPDATE: There’s a 15.6 inch Dell G3 selling for $699.99 at Walmart!

MSI GF63 8RC ($799.99)

  • Intel 8th Gen i7-8750H 6 Core Processor
  • GTX 1050 4 GB Graphics Card
  • 16 GB DDR2 RAM
  • 256GB SSD + 1TB HDD Storage
  • 15.6 inch display

This laptop is known for its great battery life and its powerful 8th Gen. Intel Core! Walmart is having this beast in the rollback category, which is why it is selling at an incredible discount! Don’t miss out on this one because it’ll be over before you know it.

Lenovo Legion Y530 ($849.00)

  • Intel Hexa-Core i7 8750H Processor
  • 15.6 inch display with 1080p IPS resolution
  • 4 GB GTX 1050 graphics card
  • 8 GB DDR2 RAM
  • 1 TB HDD Storage
  • 14.2 x 10.51 x 1 inches, 5.17 pounds

I actually got a good hands on this machine and I liked how simple and professional it looks. With its powerful computer processor and its decent graphics card, this is a great choice to have for gaming laptops. With its price, I don’t think it’s going to get any better than this so with its limited stock, you better get it now before time runs out.

HP Omen Gaming Laptop ($936.47)

  • Intel Hexa-Core i7 8750H Processor (2.2 – 4.1 GHz)
  • 15.6 inch 1080p Display
  • 60 Hz Refresh Rate
  • 12GB DDR2 RAM
  • 128GB SSD/1TB HDD
  • GTX 1050 Ti Graphics Card
  • 10.3 x 14.2 x 1 inches, 5 pounds

This laptop kicks ass! It has a powerful i7 processor so you don’t have to sacrifice power to enjoy gaming. The battery is exceptional for its price, offering a 70 watt hour battery, which will give you 3.5 hours of gaming. Overall, the laptop is great compared to its past models.

I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled for new on sale laptop gaming computers as the year goes on. Leave a comment on how do these machines work for you. Happy shopping!
